Purchased two years ago, the original was disassembled and inspected. After many efforts by the watchmaker, it was finally cracked. It is made of Breitlight® material. Breitlight® is a thermoplastic resin with excellent high temperature resistance. It is a composite of polycarbonate and carbon fiber. The material is 3.3 times lighter than titanium and 5.8 times lighter than stainless steel, but it is stronger and can’t be broken! It has many advantages: scratches, polishing, corrosion resistance, anti-magnetic, anti-allergic, and has a warmer touch than metal, and presents the mottled visual effect of carbon fiber.
